Since Jon Jones reclaimed the UFC’s light-heavyweight belt he’s talked about building on his legacy at 205, but now he and Stipe Miocic have the MMA world buzzing, by teasing they’re going to throw down.
According to a report from WKYC – TV in Cleveland, Chael Sonnen said in a recent video that ESPN’s Ariel Helwani has heard the UFC is looking at Jones vs. Miocic (although, there is nothing up from Helwani at ESPN.com re: this as this is being written).
In addition, recently Jones and Miocic exchanged these tweets:

Now, it could certainly be that there’s nothing to this on the UFC’s end, and that Jones is just putting this out there. If there is something to it, however, you would think an interim heavyweight title will be on the line. Otherwise, why would this bout be happening?
