Doctors Confirm ‘Alaskan Bush People’ Star’s Cancer

Doctors have just confirmed that “Alaskan Bush People” star Ami Brown really did have lung cancer. Apparently, some people didn’t believe her.

Back in 2017, Ami was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lung cancer and was given a survival rate of just 3 percent. Two years later, she has beaten the disease and is completely healthy, but she is still saddened by the fact that when she was first diagnosed, internet trolls claimed that her cancer was fake. The trolls alleged that Ami had made up the cancer just to create drama for her reality television show, but doctors at UCLA Medical Center have just confirmed that she really did have the disease.

“Amora Brown was diagnosed with Stage III non-small cell lung cancer in April 2017,” they said in a statement, according to Fox News. “Treatment for her cancer included a four-month course of chemotherapy with radiation. Her disease responded well to the treatment, and, according to her UCLA oncologist Dr. Deborah Wong, she is now in remission.”

“Although her most recent scans show no evidence of cancer, Amora will continue to be monitored closely by her medical team over the next several months,” the statement continued.

Ami and her husband Billy even moved from Alaska to Washington state so that she could get treatment for the disease.

It’s both sad and ridiculous that social media users would claim that Ami faked her cancer just for ratings. Anyone who has ever watched “Alaskan Bush People” knows how real the Brown family is and that they would never go so far as to fake a cancer diagnosis just to create drama. The fact that Ami even moved states for treatment should serve as proof that she was telling the truth all along.
