Though Cher spends much of her time now bashing President Donald Trump in increasingly deranged rants on Twitter, she also prides herself on being a talented actress. That’s why it was particularly humiliating for her this week when one of the most legendary directors that she ever worked with spoke out to slam her for having no acting ability.

Fox News reported that Peter Bogdanovich, who directed Cher in the award-winning 1985 movie Mask, said that the star “can’t act” in a new interview.

“She won best Best Actress at Cannes because I shot her very well,” Bogdanovich said, adding that “she can’t sustain a scene,” which meant he had to shoot a lot of close-ups of her “because she’s very good in close-ups.”

“Her eyes have the sadness of the world,” he explained to Vulture Magazine. “You get to know her, you find out it’s self-pity, but still, it translates well in movies. I shot more close-ups of her than I think in any picture I ever made.”

“Well, she didn’t trust anybody, particularly men. She doesn’t like men,” Bogdanovich continued. No wonder Cher has so much hatred in her heart for Trump. It seems that hating men has always come easily to her!

Cher has yet to respond to Bogdanovich’s comments, but I have no doubt that a nonsensical twitter post slamming him as a “sexist old white man” is coming any second from her.

It’s ironic that Cher regularly bashes Trump for supposedly not doing his job correctly when one of the top directors she ever worked with is saying that she could not do her own job correctly herself. Perhaps Cher should focus a little less on what Trump is doing and a little more on her own career in music and acting. People in glass houses should not be throwing stones, Cher!
