Arn Anderson Unaware Alicia Fox Was Intoxicated? + AOP’s Future

Apparently, Arn Anderson did not know Alicia Fox was intoxicated during a live event until it was too late. Also, AOP should be on TV in a few months.

– After 17 years working behind for WWE, Arn Anderson was fired last week for allowing an intoxicated Alicia Fox to wrestle at a live event. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON) noted how Triple H tried to defuse to the situation, but Vince McMahon made the final call and Anderson was let go.

The report continued how several superstars were not aware that Fox was intoxicated and any unusual behavior that evening was chalked up as ‘Fox being Fox.’ Also, it was stated how Anderson was unaware until it was too late as seen in the post below from the WON.

“The defense of Anderson from talent is that they believe and even insist he didn’t know anything regarding Fox was that bad before the match, nor did the talent at the time. The women are used to Fox behaving erratically, which she did then but has done, more of late.”

There is still no update on Fox’s status with WWE. Speculation was WWE offered her rehab, but she refused and has since stopped answering calls from anyone at WWE. This part should be taken strictly as a rumor, but WWE wanting Fox to attend rehab is the next logical step when an incident like this occurs.

– The Authors of Pain (AOP) took a dramatic blow in December when Akam went down with knee injury that will require 2 to 3 months of recovery time. Since then, Rezar has worked a few minor matches with Drake Maverick by his side. His biggest match without Akam was losing to then RAW Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode & Chad Gable on the Royal Rumble pre-show.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE has plans for the former RAW and NXT Tag Team Champions upon the return of Akam; which will likely be after WrestleMania 35.

With WWE trying to put better focus the tag team division, AOP can be a major asset. In the meantime, you can probably catch Rezar on Main Event.
