covington students

An independent investigation has cleared the Covington High School students of any wrongdoing weeks after the mainstream media claimed they launched a racist attack on a Native American man despite no evidence to back this up whatsoever.

Fox News reported that the investigation was carried out by Greater Cincinnati Investigation Inc., who found that the accounts Nick Sandmann and his fellow students gave were consistent with video footage of the incident. The students had long said that they were the ones who were being harassed by the group of so-called Black Hebrew Israelites, and the investigation team concluded that video evidence backed this up.

“Some of the students asked the chaperones if they could do their school cheers to help drown out the Black Hebrew Israelites,” the final investigative report stated. “After the interaction with the Black Hebrew Israelites, Mr. [Nathan] Phillips approached the students.”

The report went on to say that at the time of the incident, the Covington students felt Mr. Phillips, the Native American man, was trying to join in with their cheers. They apparently did not feel threatened by him and did not have any reason to become antagonistic the way people painted them to be.

“We found no evidence of offensive or racist statements by students to Mr. Phillips or members of his group,” the report said.

Sandmann looking into libel lawsuits against media

The Covington students who were wearing MAGA hats were widely condemned by the mainstream media as soon as initial pieces of video footage from the incident came out. The left-wing media did not wait for more evidence before gleefully vilifying the Trump-supporting teenagers. Sandmann has since hired a team of attorneys that are looking into various libel lawsuit options against members of the media and Hollywood celebrities that attacked him.

“Many statement(s) were published that urged the idea of subjecting Nick to acts of physical violence,” said attorney L. Lin Wood. “Although the courts’ opportunities to identify appropriate causes of action for harm caused by unlawful speech on the Internet have been somewhat limited in number to date, I believe that there are a number of viable causes of actions available to this young man who is and remains a private figure plaintiff.”

We certainly hope that Sandmann moves forward with these lawsuits, as he deserves all the compensation in the world for what happened to him. The entire incident is a prime example of how quick the leftwing media are to vilify supporters of President Donald Trump. The media put the lives of these Covington teens in danger just to quench their desire to destroy anyone who has remotely helped Trump. Members of the media should be ashamed of themselves, as should anyone else who launched attacks on these innocent kids.
