chris pratt ellen page lgbtq church

Actress Ellen Page of Juno fame just spoke out to blast Chris Pratt for his Christian views.

During an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” last week, Pratt got candid about being a Christian. To Page, this was extremely offensive, and she took to Twitter to slam him for daring to open up about being a Christian.

“If the spotlight that is shining on you is brighter than the light that’s within you, it will kill you,” Pratt said in the interview, according to Daily Wire.

“Oh. K. Um. But his church is infamously anti lgbtq so maybe address that too?” Page tweeted in response.

Pratt attends Hillsong Church, which is also attended by other celebrities like Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner. This is not the first time Page has exposed her own bigotry by speaking out against someone for being a Christian, as she recently went after Vice President Mike Pence as well.

Ellen Page launches anti-Christian attack on Mike Pence

“If you are in a position of power and you hate people, and you want to cause suffering to them — you go through the trouble, you spend your career trying to cause suffering. What do you think is going to happen?” Page said of Pence. “Kids are going to be abused, and they’re going to kill themselves. And people are going to be beaten on the street. I have traveled the world and I have met the most marginalized people you can meet. I am lucky to have this time and this privilege to say this. This needs to f—ing stop.”

If Page were going after a Muslim for his or her religious views, all Hell would be breaking loose and she would be blacklisted immediately. Since she is bashing a Christian, however, Page is being given a free pass and is allowed to say whatever she pleases. Hollywood is a place that claims to be against any kind of attacks on religion unless, of course, the religion being attacked is Christianity. If Hollywood really wants us to believe that they stand against bigotry, they need to make it clear that these kinds of attacks on Christianity are not acceptable.
