Drew McIntyre's WrestleMania 35 Role

– Bray Wyatt has been missing from TV for months and it seems that WWE simply does not have any storylines for the former WWE Champion. During the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke a bit more on Wyatt.

“He’s ready; I mean it’s just a creative situation,” said Meltzer. “I mean he could work tomorrow if they had the right creative for him. So, I don’t know when they’re bringing him back or what role they’re gonna bring him back with.”

The Wyatt Family debuted on the main roster with high expectations. The stable was broken up several times and Bray has since moved on to a singles career. At the Elimination Chamber in 2017, Bray won the WWE Championship. The reign was short lived as Randy Orton captured the title in an anticlimax match at WrestleMania 33.

Since then, Bray worked a feud with Matt Hardy which saw him turn face and they eventually captured the RAW Tag Team Championships. When Matt Hardy took a hiatus to recover from injuries, Bray was also removed from TV. Since late July, Bray only worked one match defeating Baron Corbin at Starrcade in a surprise appearance.

– At this point, Lars Sullivan seems to have fallen out of the good graces of WWE. He was set to debut several weeks ago, but a reported panic attack due to anxiety has caused him to not yet debut on the main roster.

The plan for Sullivan at WrestleMania 35 was to challenge 16 time World Champion John Cena. With so much doubt regarding Sullivan, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted how some are pulling for Drew McIntyre to now take on Cena. McIntyre’s push has slowed the past month, but that could change if given a big WrestleMania match.

A big obstacle is that Cena is currently filming a movie titled “Playing With Fire” and that will finish filming only days before Aril 7’s WrestleMania 35.
