2019 is set to be a good year for some WWE stars. A select few have managed to separate themselves from the rest, so it would not be a stretch that these people could be champions this year. Let us see who is on the list!
Drew McIntyre has been pegged for success since last year, and 2019 is looking bright for the Scottish Psychopath.
Even though his first run in the WWE was not exactly a massive success, Vince handpicked McIntyre back in the day for a reason. It took him several years to make his way back to the light, his experience in the indies has certainly benefited him. Now, McIntyre stands out from the fold. This will undoubtedly benefit him in the form of becoming a champion in 2019.
The women’s division also gained someone who is drawing the right kind of attention, more specifically Ember Moon. NXT prepared her well for the main roster, as she quickly became a fan favourite.
There are many possible matches for Ember Moon, but one many people are looking forward to is an Asuka match, since the pair had an outstanding feud on NXT. Many hope Ember will take the win at the women’s Royal Rumble. Fans also hope she will chose to face Asuka for a championship match.
Big E already had great success with The New Day, but this year E is standing out from his fellow New Day members. Whether it is his silliness, elaborate hip movements, or incredible feats of strength, Big E is set for big success in 2019!
Already a champion on NXT, it is only a matter of time before Adam Cole is heading for main roster success. The Undisputed Era is one of the strongest and most popular factions in NXT history. And, they are set to make it big on the main roster, too!
Adam Cole was selected to become NXT’s first North American Champion, so it is clear Triple H has nothing but faith when it comes to Cole. Of course, it remains to be seen if Vince has the same faith. That being said, fans might be listened to when it comes to a man like Adam Cole.
There are some breakout stars on NXT’s women’s roster as well, but the one who has been standing out the most is Bianca Belair.
Bianca Belair does not only stand out because of her long braid. She built up momentum thanks to her in-ring ability and charisma, making her next in line for the NXT title. Of course, many believe Belair might be making an appearance on the main roster too in 2019!
