Meghan Markle’s Sister Starts the New Year Bashing Her Sister

Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha Markle spent much of 2018 publicly bashing her sister. On Tuesday, the first day of 2019, Samantha made it clear that she intends to continue doing so in the coming year by speaking out against her sister once again.

Fox News reported that Samantha sent a New Year’s message to Meghan, urging her to “show gratitude” in 2019 and to “pay tribute” to the people who have gotten her where she is now, specifically their father.

“Thank him for your college education, your career, building every stage you set foot on, but really appreciate the people that care about you,” Samantha said of their father, going on to add that she would like Meghan to “count her blessings and reflect moving forward in the new year “and “pay that gratitude forward to your children so that they also thank you.”

She concluded her message by telling Meghan to “eat more chocolate” to “sweeten her disposition” for the new year.

“Life is short and you know Dad is wonderful,” Samantha wrote. “Please give him joy in his last years by showing that you love him. The time is NOW.”

Samantha has repeatedly and relentlessly attacked her sister over the course of the past year, ever since she was not invited to her wedding to Prince Harry. Though she has claimed at times that she wants to make peace with Meghan, Samantha has always quickly shown that this is not her true intention by publicly criticizing her sister over and over.

Frankly, I find Samantha’s behavior to be despicable. If she really wants Meghan to reach out to her again, all she has to do is stop talking to the press. By continuing to bash Meghan publicly, Samantha is showing the world that all she cares about is obtaining fame and fortune for herself. At this point, all of us can see exactly why Meghan separated herself from Samantha and most of her family in the first place.
