These days, it often seems as if police officers do not get the respect that they deserve in this country. In the liberal world of Hollywood, it’s especially rare to see a star speak out to honor our nation’s brave men and women in blue. That’s why it came as a welcome surprise when action movie star Chris Pratt spoke out to do just that!
Fox News reported that Pratt took to Instagram on National Law Enforcement Day to pay a lengthy tribute to police officers. He wanted to let these brave cops know that their sacrifices are appreciated and that we have not turned our backs on them.
“Today on National Law Enforcement day I want to give a shout to my brother Cully who’s been a cop for 15 years after serving in the Army for eight. Love you bro! Thank you! He and his brothers and sisters in blue put their lives on the line every day for their communities. They’ve answered a call to public service that is demanding and often unappreciated. On National Law Enforcement Day, we have an opportunity to thank them for their service and offer a token of respect. You are seen. You are appreciated. You are loved. Today we honor you.”
Police officers put their lives on the line every day to protect the American people, yet they have been made out to be the enemy by leftists in recent years. Leftwing Hollywood stars have been all too happy to jump on the bandwagon of vilifying police officers, which is why it’s so refreshing to see a top A-lister like Pratt pay such a beautiful tribute to them. This down to Earth and patriotic attitude is partly why so many people love and adore Pratt. In a world where Hollywood liberals are acting more and more ridiculous each day, Pratt is a breath of fresh air!
