Thiago Santos has been given another opportunity to jump up the UFC’s 205 ranks, as the promotion’s announced he’s going to battle Jan Blachowicz next.

Recently the UFC announced that the light-heavyweights are going to fight in the headliner of its February 23rd card, which will go down in Prague of the Czech Republic.

Santos (20-6) took on Jimi Manuwa at UFC 231 earlier this month, and he proceeded to knock the contender out in round two.  The punishing striker has won three straight and is ranked #7 in the UFC’s 205 division.

Blachowicz (23-7), meanwhile, is riding a four-fight winning streak and submitted Nikita Krylov in his last bout, which went down in September. Blachowicz is ranked #4.
