RIZIN’s New Year’s Eve card is just over a week away, and recently the Japanese promotion announced the bout order for the ridiculously, stacked event.
If you’re a big combat sports fan, then you know the December 31st event will be headlined by an exhibition boxing match between rising striking sensation Tenshin Nasukawa and undefeated pugilist, Floyd Mayweather Jr.
But, in terms of MMA bouts, there’s plenty to like. Case in point, former UFC contender Kyoji Horiguchi will take on Bellator bantamweight champ Darrion Caldwell for RIZIN’s bantamweight crown. Some of the other MMA bouts scheduled include Daron Cruickshank vs Damien Brown, Jiri Prochazka vs Brandon Halsey, Tatsuya Kawajiri vs. Satoru Kitaoka, and Justin Scoggins vs. Yuki Montoya, among many others.
You can check out the fight order for the day’s action below. The event will be hosted by the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Broadcast plans for North America have not been announced yet.
