John Cena’s TV Return Date

John Cena has been missing from WWE television for quite a while now, thanks to the explosion of offers from Hollywood, leaving fans of the Cenation leader missing him. He’s undoubtedly busy with his flourishing movie career, but the good news for all those who yearn to see the 16-time former WWE champion, looks like he’s headed back to the WWE in the very near future.

Check out the below tweet that John Cena sent out via Twitter early today:

As you can see amongst some holiday live WWE events listed, John Cena is also scheduled for the Monday RAW in Orlando (January 7th), as well as Memphis (January 14).

Does this mean that he’ll participate in this year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view set for January 27th? Doesn’t look good. According to ringside news, Cena is set to start filming for a new movie, come January 20th.

– For anyone who caught the recent Being The Elite episode, Matt and Nick Jackson gave a letter to HHH wishing the WWE well when it came to future endeavours. Seems like the rumors around the Young Bucks heading to the WWE were dealt with via the show; however is there any substance to those rumors at all?

Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer chimed in on the YouTube segment, and revealed some interesting facts. Meltzer noted that the Young Bucks in fact did turn down a WWE offer recently, deciding to move forward with All Elite Wrestling.

Did they make the right decision? Sure, the WWE is a huge platform for superstars to showcase their abilities, but it is a hit and miss for some talents who head to the main roster, or even NXT. The Young Bucks have created an incredible pro wrestling name via the indie circuit, and should All Elite Wrestling take off, it may prove to be far more lucrative than what the WWE could offer. Here’s hoping that the risk will pay off for them in the long run.
