Former Champ Sent Home + New Young Bucks Logo

-In some surprising news, former Universal Champion Finn Balor was sent home from the WWE South American tour. The move was reported by Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer website. While sometimes this happens for good reasons (AJ Styles was sent home from a prior tour to help a depleted RAW roster PPV), this does not seem to be the case now.

There has been no word from Balor or WWE on the reasoning. Finn Balor does not appear to be suffering from an injury. It was not reported that he was injured at any house show prior to the decision to send him home, either.

Additionally, there has been no news about possible behavior issues that would have had WWE send the Superstar home. Thus far, there’s been no formal announcement for the move, and we may never get one. It is entirely possible that there isn’t much to this, but Balor did apologize to fans for missing dates on the tour. Stay tuned to WrestleNewz for further information as it becomes available.

-In some lighter news, one of the hottest properties heading into 2019 is getting a new logo:

The Young Bucks are part of The Elite. Along with Cody Rhodes (and others), they are considered some of the best wrestlers on the planet not working for WWE today. Vince McMahon and the suits in Stamford have been rumored to be in hot pursuit.

If the Young Bucks do indeed get an offer from WWE and decide to jump, then we might see this new logo on WWE official merchandise early next year. Knowing how certain executives in WWE like to control every last detail, however, it’s possible it gets changed again.

That said, for now, The Young Bucks are still a hot indie team with a hot new logo.
