dog the bounty hunter assault

The past week has been a nightmare for Duane Chapman, better known as Dog The Bounty Hunter, as his beloved wife Beth’s throat cancer has returned. A spokesman for the Chapmans has said that the situation is “very serious” and Dog himself has even said that Beth is “not doing good.”

Now, things have gotten even worse for Dog, as he is being investigated for an alleged assault of a teenage fan who approached him and his wheelchair-bound wife at an airport.

Daily Mail reported that the incident took place last Friday, just days after the Chapmans learned that her cancer had returned. Video footage shows Dog push his wife’s wheelchair into an elevator with the help of an airport handler as two men verbally abuse them.

“You put your hands on my son,” the older man can be heard yelling before threatening to, “Beat your a**!”

Dog the Bounty Hunter putting his hands on a f**king juvenile,” he continued as his son told Dog to “S*ck my d*ck.”

Insiders say that Dog did not want to respond because he was worried about protecting his wife. He has denied physically assaulting the teenager and is reportedly planning to file harassment charges against both men, saying that surveillance footage backs up his version of the story. His lawyer, Andrew B. Brettler, released the following statement:

“There was no assault. A young man approached Dog at the Denver Airport in a very hostile and aggressive manner, clearly looking to start trouble. He insulted Dog and Beth, hurled racial slurs at Dog, and threatened to ‘cut’ Beth if she could ‘get out of her wheelchair.’ The Chapmans attempted to distance themselves from this individual, but he followed them to the elevator where he continued to shout profanities at them.

The Chapmans called for airport security. Eventually they were able to get in their vehicle without further incident. According to the Denver P.D., airport surveillance footage show this individual was the aggressor and that Dog did not assault him, as alleged. The Chapmans intend to press charges against this individual and his father for harassment and for disturbing the peace.”

It’s incredibly sad that something like this is happening to the Chapmans right now when they are at the most vulnerable point of their lives. Anyone who has ever watched Dog on television knows that he will do anything to protect his wife, especially now, when she is fighting for her life.

Regardless of what went down at this airport, these two men should be ashamed of themselves for hurling verbal abuse at a man who was just trying to get his cancer-stricken wife home. The Chapmans should be able to focus solely on getting Beth well right now, not worrying about potentially defending themselves in a legal case.
