– Former three time X-Division Champion Trevor Lee is finished with Impact Wrestling. According to PWInsider, Lee is under contract to Impact Wrestling until December 31 but told officials at the last set of tapings from Las Vegas that he was leaving. That would explain why he came up short in all the taped matches.
There has been interest on WWE’s end to sign the 25 year old. With Lee being a free agent, he can sign with WWE at any time. There has been talk of bringing Lee to the Performance Center in January as part of the newest crop of talent.
Besides being the youngest X-Division Champion, Lee is a former tag team champion and is well known on Indy scene; especially in the Carolinas.
– Yesterday, Enzo Amore was kicked off a flight for allegedly vaping. Here’s video of Enzo being forced to leave the plane, which was yet to takeoff, while the person filming drops the line “How you doin?.” Enzo quickly turns around and gives the apparent wrestling fan a smile. There was no further incident from Enzo.
TMZ caught up with Enzo and he denied vaping on the airplane. Although, Enzo said there was someone taking part in the activity but he was not a snitch.
“It was a slight aberration” said Enzo to TMZ. “A man in street clothes came up to me and he said are you vaping? I’m not a snitch. Somebody was vaping around me, I ain’t saying who it was.”
Since being fired by WWE last year, Enzo has focused on career in rap and Hollywood. He seems to basically be done with the world of pro wrestling. The former Cruiserweight Champion was let go after not disclosing to WWE that he was being investigated over a claim that he raped a female. In the end, no charges were ever filed.
