Paige Will Never Return to the Ring

Despite the fact that Daniel Bryan has returned to the ring after a career-ending injury, Paige has stated her story will not end up the same.

Social media went haywire this week after rumors circulated Paige was cleared to compete again. However, the 26-year-old British wrestler soon recanted that story.

Paige Responds to Fans on Social Media

A fan named Quincy Latham took to Twitter, believing the British star was cleared to wrestle again. Paige responded:

“Nope. I’m not. One more knock to my neck could result in paralysis. don’t read “facts” on the internet. as much as i want that to be true, it’s 100% not.”

Last year, the wrestling star fell after she was kicked in the back by fellow wrestler Sasha Banks. She’s already had surgery and was diagnosed with scoliosis, too. So, in Paige’s words, wrestling again could paralyze her. I am sure that is tough pill to swallow.  I hope fans respect this in the future before jumping to assumptions.

Good News for Paige

Despite the career-ending injury, there is some good news for Paige. The Rock has been working on a movie about Paige and her career and it is finally here!

Most people assumed that the movie about Paige and her family’s life would be completely serious and frankly full of drama. However, the trailer proves there is a lot of room for humor as well. Needless to say, I’m looking forward to watching the movie even more now.

Aside from her movie release, Paige also plays a crucial role on SmackDown Live at the moment, so she can still enjoy the buzz of the wrestling crowd despite not being able to wrestle anymore. She is also a two-time former Divas Champion and the youngest woman ever to win that title. So, no matter what happens next for her, she will go down in history.
