Monday Night Raw: 8 pm EST

Tag Team Battle Royal

Match gets underway but Braun Strowman comes out and starts decimating everyone. Strowman goes on a rampage and all the tag teams are cleared out of the ring as Strowman paces around with a steel chair in hand. The Monster Among Men calls for a microphone. Strowman tells the audience that tonight’s episode of Raw is “brought to you by the Monster Among Men.” He says he’s tired of chasing act-general manager Baron Corbin around. He’s not leaving until Corbin “gets these hands.” Stephanie McMahon’s music hits and she comes out.

Steph says she understands Strowman’s point of view, considering Corbin cost him the Universal Title, but he can’t hold Raw hostage. She needs him to remember what’s important: this Sunday’s Survivor Series. Shane McMahon called himself the “best in the world”. Is Strowman going to let him disrespect Raw like that? Strowman says he doesn’t give a damn about representing Raw. Steph says she DOES give a damn and he better get with the program. Strowman says he’s no fool and knows when he’s being manipulated.

Steph says she doesn’t underestimate him. She knows he’s intelligent. So she suggests a compromise. They agree that Strowman will get Corbin, and then another shot at Brock Lesnar’s Universal Title. He also wants to choose the stipulation against Corbin. Stephanie agrees to his terms on one condition: he doesn’t lay a hand on Corbin until after Survivor Series. He needs to prove he’s a proud member of the Raw roster. Then he can have whatever he wants. Strowman says he better, or else he’ll destroy the whole WWE headquarters building.

Then Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey comes out and interrupts. Rousey gets in Stephanie’s face and then says she’s been waiting for a challenge like Becky Lynch since coming to WWE. She can’t wait to show “The Man” how it’s really done. The crowd chants Becky’s name. Rousey then motions to attack Stephanie, unprovoked. But Corbin comes out and tells everyone to cool it. They all need to focus on defeating Smackdown at Survivor Series this weekend. He looks at Rousey and says they all can’t get overconfident.

Then Rousey hits him with a Judo throw, unprovoked. She leaves and Strowman and Corbin go face-to-face and Stephanie gets in between them. She tells Strowman to remember their deal. Strowman tells Corbin he’s going to neuter him after Survivor Series. Strowman’s music hits as Corbin and Steph leave.

Singles Match: Ember Moon vs. Tamina (with Nia Jax)

Survivor Series Team Captain Alexa Bliss is shown backstage watching the match, as she is still deciding who to pick for her team. Tamina dominates in the early going and through the commercial break. Moon tries to come back but Jax interferes and Tamina regains control. Tamina hits a splash off the top rope for the victory.

Winner: Tamina

After the match, Jax puts a little beating on the already-battered Moon.

Corey Graves interviews Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins. Graves asks where Rollins’ head is at, considering the beef with former brother Dean Ambrose. If Rollins’ head isn’t in the game at Survivor Series against United Stated Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, his head will get taken clean off. Rollins says he’ll be ready. But that’s Sunday. Tonight, he wants answers from Ambrose as to why he betrayed him. Ambrose comes on the big screen and says he doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. All these dirty people approaching him in the streets asking him why.

Ambrose asks Rollins if he maybe feels he shouldn’t have treated him like an imbecile; treated him like a charity case. Maybe Ambrose was always this way and Rollins was just too self-absorbed to notice. Ambrose says The Shield made him weak. Rollins and Roman Reigns made him weak. But every day is a new day, says Ambrose. A chance to be reborn. To change the past… Ambrose sets his Shield vest on fire, saying “… And burn it down.”

Drew McIntyre comes out with Dolph Ziggler. McIntyre talks about how he broke The Shield, and then broke Kurt Angle last week. McIntyre beat Angle down so bad that he started crying. Crying! McIntyre says he had never been more disgusted in his life. Finn Balor ends up coming out to interrupt and he tells McIntyre he’s a bully for what he did to Angle. And Balor has been dealing with bullies like McIntyre his whole life. He calls McIntyre out for a match and McIntyre accepts. He says Balor’s got a match! … just not with McIntyre.

McIntyre says Balor will have a match with the “true best in the world, Dolph Ziggler.” Ziggler looks taken aback by being chosen for a match without his consent. He confusedly tries to take it in stride, but looks to be struggling with it. McIntyre ends up headbutting Balor hard to give Ziggler the advantage as the match gets underway.

Singles Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Finn Balor

After facing a heavy Ziggler onslaught, and interference from McIntyre, Balor perseveres and pulls out the win.

Winner: Finn Balor

Tag Team Battle Royal (Take 2)

Winners: Chad Gable & Bobby Roode

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar comes out with his advocate Paul Heyman. Heyman cuts a promo on Strowman and WWE Champion AJ Styles, two of Lesnar’s upcoming opponents, but then Jinder Mahal comes out. He tries to get Lesnar to center himself but Lesnar just puts a beating on him.

***

Bobby Lashley comes out with his advocate Lio Rush. Rush commentates as Lashley does muscular poses for the crowd. Then Elias comes out and the crowd cheers. Elias says Bobby Lashley sucks and he’s gunna come to the ring and shut both of their mouths. But before he does that… and Elias starts playing a little ditty on his guitar.

Singles Match: Elias vs. Bobby Lashley

Rush interferes and helps his boy Lashley secure the victory, earning him a spot on the Survivor Series team.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

After the match, Elias puts a beating on both Lashley and Rush.

Alexa Bliss comes out to announce her team for Survivor Series. Natalya is one member, but Bliss told her to go home and refocus after her debacle with the Riott Squad earlier. The rest of the team are Mickie James, Niz Jax and Tamina. And there’s one more person for the team… and the winner of the next match will be the one.

Singles Match: Sasha Banks vs. Bayley

Bliss, pitting the two best friends against each other. Banks and Bayley, engaging as the bell sounds. They jockey for position and exchange moves back and forth. Banks hits a Meteora for a 2-count. Banks then starts to land some knees but Bayley eventually moves and Banks strikes the post. Bayley pins for 2. Both women put out all the stops and Bayley hits a Bayley-To-Belly on the apron as it cuts to commercial.

Back again and Bayley goes for a jumping elbow but Banks gets her knees up. Suddenly, Jax, Tamina and Mickie come in and start beating them both up. The bell sounds to stop the match.

No Winner

Bliss comes into the ring with a smile on her face. She had no intentions of choosing either Banks or Bayley. Her real pick is Ruby Riott.

Backstage and Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has Ronda Rousey in a Disarm Her. Then “The Man” Becky Lynch’s music hits and she starts stepping out into the arena, where the Raw Women’s Survivor Series Team stands in the ring. The rest of the Smackdown Women’s Team appears and ambushes the Raw team. The Blue Team beats and batters the Red Team. But then Rousey’s music hits and she comes out with fire and fury. Becky ducks out of the ring as Rousey, with one-arm, takes it to some of the other women.

Rousey’s arm halts her momentum a bit and Becky capitalizes and smashes her with a steel chair. The Blue Team regains control and they all stand tall around the ring area. Becky cracks Rousey across the back with a steel chair and then leaves the ring. She talks trash as blood pours out of her nose, which appears to be broken from the melee. Rousey looks after her with rage as Becky and the Blue team leave. Becky, bloody-faced, looks back at Rousey and smiles and taunts as her music erupts over the sound system.
