World War 2 veteran and Michigan native Isaac “Ike” Fabela had just one wish for his birthday – since he’s turning 100, he would like to receive 100 birthday cards from across the country.

He got his wish, and then some.

Ike actually ended up receiving over 50,000 messages from those wanting to honor his service on his birthday.

Including a happy birthday wish from President Trump.

“Fabela’s daughter filmed him opening a package from ‘the big one’ and he immediately smiled before saying, ‘that’s Trump,’ reported The Daily caller. “Inside the envelope was a picture of the president with his signature.”

A Facebook video of the package opening has been watched over 4.6 million times.

The video shows Ike reading a card signed by Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

You can see the emotion on Fabela’s face and in his voice as he reads the message from the White House.

“We hope your heart is filled with joy, knowing you have experienced this country’s greatest blessing: the freedom and affection of family and friends over a long, well-lived life,” he read.

His daughter looked on with pride.

“We hope your heart is filled with joy.”

74-years-ago, Fabela was luckily removed from a boat bound to take part in the Siege of Normandy on D-Day. So many soldiers stormed the beach that day and never returned.

Fabela was born in Texas in 1918 and served in the war for two years. On D-Day, he was 26.

His daughter “Lolie” said he reads every single message and becomes emotional.

“When someone calls him a hero, it touches his heart. But he doesn’t feel like he deserves that title. He always says that the young men who didn’t make it back are the heroes,” Lolie told Fox News.

“It’s amazing, the things he remembers. The stories he can tell — he’s like a walking history book,” she added.
