It would be easy to look at someone like UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker and feel as if they are in complete control of their life.

But even Whittaker has problems.

On World Mental Health Day, Whittaker took to social media to explain.

“Your mental health is just as important as your physical health,” he said. “You don’t need to be ok all the time, sometimes stuffs hard.

“As for help, I do all the time.”

Whittaker is scheduled to meet Kelvin Gastelum sometime in 2019 for the title. The 27-year-old is coaching opposite Gastelum on The Ultimate Fighter 28 right now.
