Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell have feuded for years. On MSNBC Thursday night, O’Donnell continued that war.
Appearing on MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace’s show “Deadline: White House,” O’Donnell talked about how depressed she became in the first year of the Trump presidency.
Apparently, she even proposed ousting the president.
“What I wrote on Twitter was we should impose martial law until we make sure the Russians weren’t involved in the final tally of the votes,” O’Donnell said on MSNBC. “And people were like, ‘Martial law? What’s wrong with you?’”
“He wants to send the military to the border,” MSNBC host Nicole Wallace said in relation to the current illegal immigrant situation on the U.S.-Mexican border.
“I want to send the military to the White House to get him,” O’Donnell announced.
The hosts all laughed.
The feud between these two is not new, spanning back well over a decade and then some.
I FULLY SUPPORT IMPOSING MARTIAL LAW – DELAYING THE INAUGURATION – UNTIL TRUMP IS "CLEARED" OF ALL CHARGES https://t.co/fUn8FZ8RTj

“I want to send the military to the White House to get him.”
This notion that Trump is a “fascist” or a “dictator” and that a coup is necessary is rampant on the left and as much as many liberals complain about Trump somehow being undemocratic – the notion of replacing a democratically-elected president by force is about the most un-American idea imaginable.

Trump was elected fair and square. Democrats are just going to have to accept this glaring fact, no matter how bitter it might be for them.
Even if O’Donnell was joking, too many liberals would seriously take her idea of a military overthrow to heart.
O’Donnell said on MSNBC that the night Trump won the presidency she “got physically sick.”
“It took me a good year to compose myself to be in public again,” O’Donnell said. “I took a year out of the spotlight.”
Hmm. Maybe you should take a few more years out of the spotlight, Rosie?
