Rey Mysterio’s WWE Return Date, Former Divas Return For SD LIVE 1000
– WWE legend, Rey Mysterio, recently signed a two-year deal with the company this past September, and since, the Internet has been a buzz with speculation around potential return dates. As per the PWInsider, the superstar’s comeback is set to take place during the highly-anticipated SmackDown LIVE 1,000-episode celebration show, taking place from Washington D.C.
Past reports indicated that Rey-Rey originally wanted an 18-month deal; however, WWE was pulling for a two-year contract, and that is what was settled on in the end. The masked superstar was able to place a clause in the contract where he could give notice at 18 months, if he decided he wanted to leave the company at that point in time.
WWE fans marked out earlier this year when Mysterio was a surprise entrant during the 2018 Royal Rumble, and Rey also worked the Greatest Royal Rumble Saudi Arabia event that took place this past April. It’s been said that both Rey and the WWE have been trying to iron out a contract since these appearances.
