Kristen Bell Slams ‘Snow White’ Claiming It’s Dangerous for Her Daughters

These days, people seem to find ways to be offended by absolutely everything. Now, even the classic Disney movies that we all grew up loving are being targeted by the left for being “offensive.”

Actress Kristen Bell, who is known for voicing Elsa in the Disney film Frozen, slammed the 1937 animated Disney classic Snow White, arguing that it sends the wrong message to girls. Fox News reported that Bell proudly boasted that whenever she watches the movie with her two daughters, who are ages 5 and 3, she asks them, “Don’t you think that it’s weird that the prince kisses Snow White without her permission? Because you cannot kiss someone if they’re sleeping!”

Yes, Bell is applying the #MeToo movement to the animated film Snow White. Bell is acting like Snow White was passed out after some frat party when in actuality she was dead after eating a poisoned apple.  She’s conveniently ignoring the fact that the prince’s kiss actually brought Snow White back to life from being dead, something that could never happen in the real world.

Consent isn’t the only issue that Bell has with Snow White. She also does not like the part in which Snow White takes an apple from a stranger.

“Everytime we close Snow White I look at my girls and ask ‘Don’t you think it’s weird that Snow White didn’t ask the old witch why she needed to eat the apple? Or where she got the apple?’ I say, ‘I would never take food from a stranger, would you?’ And my kids are like, ‘No!’ And I’m like, ‘OK, I’m doing something right,'” she added.

If Bell really wants to take this movie seriously, why stop there? Why not tell her daughters that they should never live with seven male dwarves? At one point in the film, Snow White enlists the help of animals from the forest to help her clean the house. Shouldn’t Bell’s daughters be taught that they are strong women who can do this themselves rather than relying on creatures of the woods to help them?!

It’s unfortunate that we can’t even enjoy an animated children’s movie today without politically correct-obsessed liberals trying to ruin it for us. If even cartoons are being labeled as offensive these days, I don’t even want to know what liberals will find problematic next.
