Kid Rock Donald Trump

Kid Rock isn’t afraid to say what is on his mind. While walking into the White House on Thursday to witness President Trump sign the Music Modernization Act (MMA), he was asked a dumb question by a reporter and he fired back with an epic response.

A reporter shouted at the “All Summer Long” singer if President Trump should fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Kid Rock, who had previously flirted with the idea of running for US Senate as a Republican, had a quick response to the pushy journalist.

“They should fire you,” the musician stoically said without even flashing a smile.

It certainly wasn’t what a reporter with the mainstream media expected to hear outside of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue as you can see in the video below.

Kid Rock has been an unashamed supporter of President Trump so it was very appropriate that he was at the White House for the signing of this bill. The musician has been vocal in his conservative ideals and isn’t afraid to be who he is.

The Music Modernization Act updates copyright laws for the digital age. It ensures songwriters and artists receive royalties on songs recorded before 1972 and allocates royalties for music producers. It also includes licensing and royalty rules for streaming services.

This legislation had bipartisan support and is praised by people throughout the music industry, which traditionally is liberal. President Obama didn’t make this popular legislation a priority, but President Trump did.

Kid Rock spoke at the press conference about the MMA and thanked President Trump on behalf of many Americans for not just this bill, but for all he has done for the country. President Trump is used to being scorned by entertainers but he was the champion of the day and Kid Rock was leading that charge.
