Chip And Joanna Gaines Share a New First for Baby Crew!

Chip and Joanna Gaines took their new baby Crew to his first college football game over the weekend. Appropriately, it was to watch their alma mater Baylor beat Abilene Christian in the season opener.

While many people were busy watching the game, “Fixer Upper” fans were delighting in the couple’s adorable Instagram photos of their infant son. Both Joanna and Chip shared close up shots of Crew snuggling with his mom. As the youngest of five kids, the 10-week-old baby has a lot of practice sleeping amidst loud noises. So, snoozing during a football game was rather easy.

Many people commented on Joanna’s picture that Crew looks very much like his older sister Emmy. The expression on Joanna’s face highlights what a proud mom she is! Joanna was holding Crew in a gold baby sling, the color being a nod to the alma mater they were there to cheer.

“First game day for baby Crew #sicem,” Joanna wrote in the Instagram photo below. Sic ’em is Baylor’s chant to attack the opponent.

Never one to be outdone, Chip also shared a picture of Crew’s first Baylor game. His followers commented that Crew looks like him! In this picture, Crew looks like he has red hair.

Crew has been known to nap with his dad, too. Just last month, Chip shared an adorable father-son photo of the two of them sleeping in a hammock. It is almost too precious for words as they both look so comfortable and happy.

Crew also made an appearance in a recent video Joanna shared from Magnolia Market. They update the market every season to reflect what is in their magazine to bring the pages to life! Joanna’s video shows fans what they’ve been up to as she carries Crew. At this age, he is very portable and can easily be taken to work!
