It’s been less than a week since legendary singer Aretha Franklin passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer, yet the liberal entertainment world is already trying to politicize her death by pushing a shameless conspiracy theory about what they feel killed her.

While appearing on “CBS This Morning” the day after Franklin’s death, singer Stevie Wonder pushed the baseless conspiracy theory that global warming caused her cancer. Breitbart reported that the pro-science “journalists” did not challenge Wonder at all about this ridicules theory.

Wonder said:

“I just feel that all these various diseases that we have and all that is happening in the world in part is because there are those who don’t believe in global warming, don’t believe that what we do affects the world. Heat affects the world and affects us. I just hope that people will grow up out of the foolishness and know that we all, by how we think, how we view, how we treat others, we will never unlock the key until we truly let go of the hatred, the bigotry, the evilness, the selfishness. We do that and we can unlock some of those things that keep us in this place.”

Wonder’s statement becomes even more off-base when examining it closer. Notice that he does not actually blame global warming itself for causing Franklin’s cancer. Instead, Wonder blames those who do not believe in global warming for somehow causing pancreatic cancer! In essence, Wonder is saying that conservative supporters of Donald Trump killed Aretha Franklin.

I must say that this is a new low for liberal Hollywood!

While the so-called journalists did not call out Wonder for his ignorance, Twitter users were not about to let him get away with it:

It never ceases to amaze us how truly ridiculous liberal celebrities can be!
