Lisa Marie Presley has faced some very public struggles in recent years. Now, Elvis’ daughter is regrouping and focusing on something that was important to the King – gospel music.
She just produced and released an album of Elvis’ gospel recordings. “Where No One Stands Alone,” includes some of his favorite Christian songs that he would sing regularly for his family. He is known as the King of Rock ‘N Roll, but Elvis loved singing about the Lord.
“He would break out into gospel music whenever and wherever he was at any time,” Lisa Marie told Jenna Bush Hagar in a recent interview. “It is what moved him.”
This project has also moved Lisa Marie as well. She sang a duet with her father for the title track by singing over his recording. She reports that this very Christian song touched her and put everything into perspective amid her legal and addiction battles. “It grounded me in the middle of the neverending tidal waves,” she said.
It’s a very emotional performance by father and daughter enabled by today’s technology. The video also includes family videos that prove to be very touching. You can watch Elvis Presley and his baby girl sing “Where No One Stands Alone” below.
Lisa Marie believes her father would be very proud of this album as it will spread the faith and help others heal. We all have our struggles and perhaps these songs that were recorded long ago by Elvis will lift others up and give them relief from their struggles today.
“I’m not perfect, my father wasn’t perfect, no one’s perfect,” Lisa Marie said. It’s what you do with it after you learn and then you try to help others with it.”

We all could use some more Jesus right now and it’s wonderful that the Presley’s are bringing Him to us!
