‘Sex And The City’ Actress Calls ‘Sexism’ On… Cold Rooms?

Cynthia Nixon was best known for her role on the television show “Sex and the City” before she suddenly decided to try her hand at politics by challenging New York Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo in this year’s election. Nixon has presented herself as a far left alternative to Cuomo, and her campaign just hit a ridiculous new low with an insane demand that they made as she prepares for her first political debate.

The Daily Caller reported that Nixon has insisted that the auditorium where the debate is to be held be kept at 76 degrees. Needless to say, this odd request left many scratching their heads, but things only got weirder when Nixon’s chief strategist Rebecca Katz explained why it was made. She told reporters that a lot of spaces are “notoriously sexist when it comes to room temperature, so we just want to make sure we’re all on the same page here.”

Apparently, in the eyes of the left, even room temperatures can be sexist now! Who knew?!

In all seriousness, Cuomo is known for preferring to speak in cold temperatures, so this could all be a ploy by Nixon to throw him off his game. But still, it is pretty low for a self-proclaimed “feminist” like Nixon to use the gender card so flippantly. Nixon went even further by accusing Cuomo of being “controlling” during his previous debates, making it clear that she intends to keep playing the gender card like it is her job.

Cuomo’s team fired back, accusing Nixon’s campaign of engaging in “paranoia and melodrama.”

“These silly accusations are more of the same,” said a Cuomo representative. “They can debate about debates, but the governor is focused on having a substantive, in-depth discussion about the issues facing New York.”

This just goes to show what a complete mess the Democratic Party is right now. If they keep engaging in this infighting, they can definitely count on President Donald Trump to win again in 2020!

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
