Family Bird Meets the New Hatchlings, His Response Has the Internet Cracking Up!

Almost everyone loves babies! It’s easy to get excited when you see one with their adorable faces and round bellies. They can put a smile on the faces of even the grouchiest of people. Turns out, a Moustache Parakeet named Ozzie feels the same way about them as we do and the internet loves him for it!

Ozzie loves to help out with all the hatchlings in his house, even though he isn’t the father. He just loves babies and wants to lend a hand (or foot) with all the ones his owners raise. His owner is a breeder, so there are always babies for Ozzie to love. A viral video shows him doing just that.

He is delighted to see the babies and bring them food. Ozzie repeatedly says, “Gonna feed the babies!” He enthusiastically tells the little cuties “I love you, babies,” and adorably gives one of those beloved babies a kiss.

Birds can have a lot of personality. In many cases, they are as much a part of the family as a dog or cat. In addition to being loving, some have the ability to talk. While many people think these birds are only mimicking people without understanding the meaning of the words, birds like Ozzie will make you think twice about that. It’s pretty clear that Ozzie knows what babies are.

Another bird with internet fame is Marnie. He acts very much like a child and the Indian Ringneck’s owners treat him like one, too. They threw him a fifth birthday party and Marnie carried himself with the excitement of a 5-year-old kid would! He was thanking his mom for his presents and was very grateful to add to his stuffed animal collection.
