Now That ‘Duck Dynasty’ Is Over, Willie Robertson Has a New Job as a Part-Time Preacher

Since “Duck Dynasty” is over, Willie Robertson has more time to do something he loves – preaching. The Robertsons are proud Christians and its important to them to share Jesus’s message with others. He might be a celebrity to many people, but to the members of Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe, Louisiana, he is their part-time preacher.

Willie is thrilled to be back to preaching at the local level. He shared God’s Word on the hit reality show, but working with people in a church is important to him as well. This shouldn’t be a shock to people who know the Robertsons. Willie started out in the seminary so being a part-time preacher is a way for him to return to those roots.

“We have a lot of time to get in there and work with the local church. Which is something we always loved. We were there [on tv] for five years. It was just so chaotic. It’s great being back in that environment,” the “Duck Dynasty” star said.

Willie often preaches at the 11:15 service. He typically only skips if he is on the road. This church and its members are important to Willie as he wants to bring the Gospel to the next generation. He often focuses on youths when he is preaching.

Christianity is certainly a family affair for the Robertsons. Phil and Jace are known to preach at WFR Church. And Willie’s daughter Sadie travels around the country bringing the message of Christ to thousands.

Sadie’s preaching resonates with young people. She has a gift of relating the Gospel to everyday situations that really engages both young and older people.

While in Georgia, Sadie felt called by God to share her Bible with a homeless man. The homeless man rejected her Bible, but he had a message for Sadie that would shake her to the core. She felt like Jesus does each time we reject him because we feel unworthy of his love. Sadie then poignantly told the audience that is how God feels when we turn him away.

The video below is a great example of the Robertsons’s work.

The Robertsons not only preach, but they stand up for Christianity in the face of those who want to silence us. Phil has even reminded elected Republicans that if they turn their backs on Jesus, we will turn out backs on them.

Share this if you are a proud Christian like the Robertsons!
