jerry seinfeld trump jokes

Jerry Seinfeld has let down a lot of leftists in Hollywood. During an interview with David Letterman, the sitcom legend said he refuses to make jokes about President Trump.

Hollywood has been in overdrive trying to fuel the resistance to the President, but Seinfeld isn’t joining in. He said taking cheap shots at Trump “doesn’t interest him.” Rather than allowing Letterman to mock his decision, Seinfeld masterfully changed the subject – to raisins.

“No, it doesn’t interest me. I do a lot of raisin stuff,” he said. “I have a lot of raisin material. Because you know you have the Sun-Maid company, and you have the Raisinet people.”

“I just think that it’s interesting that after 80 years, Sun-Maid finally went, ‘Hey, why don’t we put some chocolate on it?’ Imagine not thinking of that for 80 years. So that really gets me excited, that people pay me to talk about those kinds of things,” Seinfeld continued without allowing Letterman an opportunity to challenge his refusal to make Trump jokes.

Letterman, who is a feverous liberal, had Seinfeld on his Netflix show “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.” He likely was taken aback at hearing a fellow Hollywood star refusing to slam the Republican President.

Comedian Michael Loftus went on “Fox and Friends” to discuss Jerry Seinfeld’s refusal to tell Trump jokes and why people are tired of Hollywood’s constant bashing of the President.

Hollywood is completely out of touch with average Americans. They are constantly trying to jam their liberal agenda down our throats. Jerry Seinfeld understands that we just want to laugh. We don’t want to be lectured.

Jerry Seinfeld has a history of pushing back against political correctness. He doesn’t do shows at colleges for that reason. He also said, “[The younger generation] just want to use these words. ‘That’s racist, that’s sexist, that’s prejudice.’ They don’t even know what they’re talking about.”
