roseanne john goodman firing

On Tuesday, ABC canceled Roseanne Barr’s eponymous sitcom “Roseanne” after the star posted an offensive tweet about former Barack Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett. Now, Barr is firing back at the network by slamming them for punishing her costars for something that she did.

Daily Mail reported that Barr took to Twitter to lament that “Roseanne” stars John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf are now out of a job with her.

“I just wish ABC had not thrown two of the greatest actors in the world out with me-Laurie and John. I’m so sick over this-they will never have better character actors on their network,” Barr tweeted on Wednesday night.

Goodman and Metcalf may not be out of the job for long, however, as multiple sources have said there is talk of a spin-off that would feature stars Metcalf, Goodman and Sara Gilbert, who plays Roseanne’s daughter Darlene. One source said that Gilbert is dealing with the cast and crew after over 200 people lost their jobs because of the cancellation. She is meeting with writers and producers later this week in a meeting that had already been planned prior to Tuesday.

Another source said that Metcalf and Goodman are open to filming a spin-off, so long as writers and producers come up with a good idea.

Meanwhile, Barr has continued to tweet non-stop, alternating between apologizing and defending herself. Once she saw that liberals were never going to accept her numerous apologies, Barr went back on the attack to defend herself from the onslaught of backlash.

“I think I spent the last 24 hours watching the party of inclusion, diversity, understanding, and acceptance, lynch a Jew,” she tweeted Wednesday night.

It’s sad that liberals have completely ditched the concept of forgiveness. What Barr did was wrong, and she has admitted that herself and apologized, yet liberals are still out to ruin her life as much as possible. We can only hope that her costars are indeed given the spinoff they deserve!
