Katy Perry doesn’t shy away from politics. She was a strong Hillary Clinton supporter in the election and she’s not very happy about President Trump. So of course, she uses her music for political purposes and some think the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador called for her fans to riot against the President.
When she dropped her disco song “Chained to the Rhythm” she earned acclaim from her far-left fans. But, after dissecting the lyrics, it’s clear the liberal activist is doing much more than entertaining. Her song is a call to protest President Trump.
Skip Marley, Bob’s grandson, also sings on this song. Buried beneath the catchy beat, he’s calling for people to rise up and riot. “We’re stumbling, we’re crumbling, and we’re about to riot / They woke up, they woke up the lions.”
Perry confirmed the purpose of the song on Twitter.
