Family Took A Photo In The Water But When They Look At It, They’re Terrified By What Was Behind Them

Kim Davison and her friend Jessie Lu were cooling off in a watering hole with three children when a friend snapped their picture. When they looked at the image, they were shocked to see what appeared to be a ghost photo-bombing them.

In addition to the three children Davison was with, there was a fourth in the picture.

“At the time of taking this photo, there was nothing between us. I’m holding the little girl and that white head next to me with horns is not human, I can promise you that,” Davison said.

“Its fingers are on my shoulder and on my daughter’s arm. They are long skeletal type fingers,” the Australian mother said.

She posted the photo on the Toowoomba Ghost Chasers Facebook page and that’s when things got even creepier. Other people commented that there weren’t horns on the head of the ghost child. Rather, they appeared to be ponytails or buns.

In addition to this, it was discovered that a 13-year old girl drowned in that spot over 100 years ago. This led many to believe that child, Doreen O’Sullivan, was in the picture.

A death notice in the paper at the time read,”Doreen O Sullivan, aged 13 years, eldest daughter of Mr. James O’Sullivan was accidentally drowned whilst bathing in the Lockyer Creek on Friday afternoon… Nearly an hour elapsed before the body was recovered. The spot, which has always been considered dangerous, is known as Murphy’s Hole, and is over 20 foot deep. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon and was largely attended. The convent school children dressed in white, marching next to the hearse.”

An administrator for the Toowoomba Ghost Chasers Facebook page shared a negative version of the image. “Light flare will always show up as black shadowing when the photo is inverted.. and in this case the light flare is coming from full sunlight reflecting off the water onto the child,” the post read. In addition to the image on the photograph, Davison reports there were a couple of odd events as they swam at Murphy’s Hole.

“On this day my daughter had her leg grabbed two times by something in the water,” she said. “When I went back in for one last dip to cool off I did feel something behind me as I was walking out of water but tried to ignore it.” 

Many believe this is the ghost of Doreen O’Sullivan. Do you?
