Alberto Del Rio Attacks Paige In Bitter Interview

Only a couple of weeks after Alberto Del Rio praised Paige for her return to the WWE, Alberto Del Rio is now ripping her and her family apart. In true controversial style, Del Rio explains why Paige and her family are to blame for his issues with the WWE. Here is the story!

Blaming Paige and Her Family

Del Rio blames Paige and her family for his rants.

During an interview with Medio Tiempo, Del Rio showed his self-serving colours once again. In the interview, he mentioned that his relationship with the WWE has improved, but he also claims that Paige and her family were responsible for him lashing out at the WWE and Triple H mainly!

“I apologized to Triple H for the issues we were in when I was in the relationship with my ex-partner. She and her entire family made me believe that those who affected our relationship were [WWE], specifically [Triple H]. She made me believe that the videos (compromising of the fighter) and all that was outside was by Triple H and the company. At the time I believed her because she was my partner, I defended her by heart and sword.”

Del Rio would continue his rant on Twitter, mainly after a plea to leave Paige alone. No words people… No words…

The True Motives of Del Rio?

Del Rio wants to return to the WWE.

Let’s face it, the sudden turnaround of Del Rio certainly has a motive. We all know what the “Pride of Mexico” is known for, and it is not good.

During the interview, Del Rio has changed his opinion about rejoining the WWE and is trying to mend some bridges. Remember, Del Rio did an endless rant on social media, ripping on the WWE and Triple H specifically. He also did numerous interviews outside of social media, where he attacked Triple H. Now, Del Rio claims he wants to return to the company. Really?

“Of course I would go back, I would not go back, but I would make a special appearance before I put on my wrestling boots and it will surely happen, surely before I retire I will do something special with them.”

“I see very difficult in 2018, but in 2019 before leaving I’m definitely going to do something with them, we shook hands and everything I fine right now. Time heals wounds.”

My Opinion

Gimme a break! The man switches opinions faster than a hungry rat looking for food scraps! Let me be very clear about this, Paige and her family made no statements against the WWE during the many Del Rio rants. Paige’s family even encouraged a return for the former Diva’s Champion and claimed Del Rio was the one who would not let her. At the time, they had some serious concerns about Paige too, since the former Diva’s Champion appeared scarily thin. Afterwards, she admitted she suffered from stress-induced anorexia.

Given the devastating injury, Paige has suffered recently, the last thing she needs is Del Rio throwing more oil on the fire. My advice to Paige is to ignore whatever this “man” has to say and focus on herself. I suppose the same for Paige’s family, who have been nothing but supportive of Paige. I also have some advice for the WWE, do not let Del Rio return, because he is a shark in the water that is bound to bite you again!
