Keaton Jones

A young boy’s video recounting the horrific bullying he has endured by his fellow classmates has gone viral and touched all of our hearts.

Keaton Jones, a young Tennessee boy, recorded a tearful message describing how several of his classmates called him ugly, made fun of his nose, and told him that he has no friends. Keaton then tells his mother, who is recording the video, that milk was poured on him and ham was put down his clothes.

During the video, Keaton tearfully asks “Just out of curiosity, why do they bully? What’s the point of it? Why do they find joy in taking innocent people and finding a way to be mean to them? […] It’s not OK. People that are different don’t need to be criticized about it. It’s not their fault. If you are made fun of, just don’t let it bother you.”

Check out his powerful video below:

As of Sunday, Keaton’s video had more than 18 million views, and numerous celebrities have come out to support the young boy, telling him that he will have a friend for life. In addition, a crowdsourcing page for Keaton’s future education has raised more than $29,000.

Even Donald Trump, Jr. took notice of Keaton’s message:

It is unknown whether or not Keaton’s school was aware of the bullying, but after this video, they certainly will be! The children who decided to viciously bully young Keaton for no reason deserve to be punished and taught a lesson.

No child deserves to be bullied, and Keaton’s powerful video should be a reminder to all of us that we need to be kind to others.

Military veteran Wayne Dupree also shared his thoughts on Keaton’s message, and how it personally touched him:

Please share this video to let Keaton Jones know that he has millions of new friends for life!
