Colin Kaepernick is still without a job, but he continues racking up awards and praise from liberal groups. His football career is in the toilet, but he can comfort himself with the trophies leftists continue giving him.
He previously won GQ’s Citizen of the Year. The now armchair quarterback received the Courageous Advocate Award at the ACLU Southern California dinner on Sunday night.
Last year, while with the San Francisco 49ers, the biracial millionaire began kneeling during the National Anthem to protest how he believes African Americans are treated poorly in this country. This was viewed as being incredibly divisive to many NFL fans who wanted to watch football games free of politics. In addition, police and veterans felt completely rebuffed by Kaepernick and the NFL for supporting this protest.
Viewership has been down thanks to Kaepernick’s protest, which has now swept the NFL. The quarterback has found himself without a team. The ACLU thought Kaepernick deserved an award for the mess he created on a beloved American sport and Colin graciously accepted. What else do you expect from the leftist ACLU?

“We all have an obligation,” the award-winning unemployed quarterback said. Apparently, that obligation is to alienate fans and cause financial strife for the NFL. Not to mention the countless veterans, safety service officers, and patriotic Americans he’s offended!

The left can’t seem to get enough of Colin Kaepernick. I guess it’s fortunate that he is unemployed. He wouldn’t be able to go around collecting all these awards if he actually had a job to do!
