Every Christmas, This Hospital Brings Joy To Newborn Babies!

When I first saw this wonderful picture, my heart sank. It was the most awesome photo I had seen of a hospital ward for newborn babies, and because this photo was taken during the holidays, it was even better.

Every year, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center loves to prove what gifts little newborn babies are by giving these little angels a special gift on Christmas Day. The hospital staff wraps all of the babies in stockings and hand-knitted hats and then shares these wonderful pictures on social media.

Instead of being wrapped in blankets, the babies sport Christmas stockings to celebrate the holiday season. Can you imagine walking into a room of sleeping babies and viewing rows and rows of babies dressed in holiday stockings? It reminds you of the stockings you put over the fireplace that usually deliver goodies for the family.

At this time of year, we need to see beautiful things like this to remind us just how precious life is, and how we should dedicate our lives to protecting these little angels. The nurses and doctors at this hospital should be commended for their idea and willingness to keep this going every Christmas. I wanted to share this story because it moved me and I wanted to see if you were as touched by it as I was.

These nurses are truly wonderful people, and they remind us of the importance of doing things to help those in need. Babies are the most vulnerable members of our society, and need all the love in the world!
