Little baby Charly was born deaf on August 2, 2017. The doctors informed the parents of a procedure that would allow her to hear so they agreed to go through with it.
A situation like this is always difficult when the patient is so small. You never want to make the wrong decision and cause major problems down the road but the parents had faith in God and their physicians to make things better for their little bundle of joy.

She was fit for hearing aids just a few weeks back, and Christy recently shared a video of Charly hearing her mom’s voice for the first time.
Christy wrote that they didn’t think Charly would be able to hear anything when doctors turned on the hearing aids. So it was the “miracle moment” that Christy had been praying for when Charly responded to the sound of her voice!
“This was more incredible than I can put in to words!” Christy wrote.
Charly is expected to undergo surgery for cochlear implants sometime next year. Until then, we’ll just keep pressing replay on her adorably sweet reaction!

I think I have told you that I have twin girls so when I see little babies like this, it takes me back to how beautiful my little girls were when they were babies. I cherished every moment I spent with them. As they have gotten older, I look at them and thank God for giving me, two wonderful daughters.
I am happy the procedure for Charly went well and she is able to hear her mom’s angelic voice. Times like this are irreplaceable and even more awesome when they are caught on camera. Send prayers for Charly and her family.
