3D printer prank

Have you ever heard of a 3D printer?

Technology is advancing so fast these days and many people can’t keep up with all the changes. We have stumbled across 3D printing and the results are amazing. Earlier this year, scientists developed a fully functional 3D heart made from silicone. It beats almost like a human heart, putting us another step closer to replacing damaged human hearts without the need for a transplant.

3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created.

The video below is actually a prank but a very good one. 3D technology has some very valuable uses, beyond just funny pranks!

The people in the video got fooled by a 3D-printed human, and their reactions were priceless. They were inquisitive and mesmerized watching the “human” move around in a very lifelike fashion.

There’s nothing like this machine in the world! I really wish I had one at my job or at the nearest mall so I could mess with other people!

Currently, the silicone 3D heart I was speaking about earlier only lasts for around 3,000 beats, or the material will malfunction. Although this scientific breakthrough has not been perfected, scientists have a great headstart on potentially lifesaving medical devices that could help countless people!

While I loved watching this video, people need to remember that 3D printers are extremely useful, and should not be used for just entertainment and a quick laugh.
