No Mercy is getting closer, and more matches are being revealed. Below, you will find the updated match card for No Mercy (at the time of this writing) as well as some of my personal predictions for the pay-per-view.

Two Possible Main Events

no mercy predictions

There are some big matches lined up for No Mercy. The first is the match between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman for the WWE Universal Championship; the second is the match between Roman Reigns and John Cena. Both matches are possible headliners that could draw a lot of people to the pay-per-view.

Unfortunately, the outcome of the Lesnar-Strowman match will likely be a win for Lesnar, as the WWE is apparently planning to keep the title on him until WrestleMania. Of course, there is always a chance the WWE does a u-turn, so I will be watching the match nonetheless.

Women’s Championship Fatal 4-Way

no mercy predictions

Another reason to look forward to No Mercy is the fatal 4-way for the RAW Women’s Championship. This week’s episode of RAW determined that the match for the title will not just be Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss – Emma and Nia Jax will be joining the fray.

Even though Emma has been booked for the match, there are not many people who believe she has a real shot at the title. That being said, I think that giving the title to Emma could be a good idea to make her stand out a bit from the rest of the women.

Nia Jax could also be a possibility, because other than Alexa I do not see Sasha Banks with the title. So, my prediction would be Nia Jax, which would make the women’s division a little more interesting.

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

no mercy predictions

Even though the match between Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt was set a while ago, nobody is really talking about the match. The topic of conversation is more whether we’ll see “leather jacket Balor” or “demon Balor.” Of course, Balor’s attire could affect the outcome of the match, since the WWE is labeling demon Balor as an unbeatable entity.

I have to admit, I am not looking forward to this match. Balor deserves a title shot at this point, so this rivalry feels a little out of place.

Cruiserweight Championship Match: Neville vs. Enzo Amore

no mercy predictions

On this week’s episode of 205 Live, newly minted cruiserweight Enzo Amore won a fatal five-way elimination match, earning a title shot against WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville at No Mercy.

While Amore is a captivating entertainer, I assume a lot of WWE officials are concerned about his lack of ability in the ring. Therefore, I expect Amore to lose to the King of the Cruiserweights.

There are some things to be excited about for the next pay-per-view, although some of the outcomes could prove predicable. Still, I have some hope that the WWE might surprise us this time.

What are you expecting from the upcoming pay-per-view?

* Update – Rollins and Ambrose Vs. Sheamus and Cesaro confirmed for No Mercy.
