Country fans are cheering the news that Luke Bryan is joining American Idol as a judge. The beloved country star will be joining Katy Perry at the judge’s table for the show’s reboot on ABC. Luke Bryan fans will soon be able to see him on their TVs on a regular basis!
This exciting announcement comes just one week before auditions for the popular singing competition begin. The third judge has yet to be announced. Former Idol judge Keith Urban and former winner Carrie Underwood are rumored to be possible picks for the final judge.
Bryan will provide a good balance to liberal Katy Perry who has been a vocal part of the Trump Resistance. Bryan isn’t one to back down when faced with nonsense. At a concert last year, he punched someone in the front row who kept flicking him off! Katy better not serve up a bunch of crap to him!
This isn’t Luke Bryan’s first time on a show like this. In 2013, he performed on the season finale of America’s Got Talent. His performance of “My Kind Of Night” is in the video below.
This could prove to be a very interesting season of American Idol since Luke is joining Katy. It will be interesting to see who the third judge will be!
