In the age of video, online platforms, and wireless cameras, many people are being busted trying to scam innocent people out of their hard-earned money.
In the video below, a homeowner catches a man he hired to help him move attempting to scam him by pretending to get injured on the job. Luckily, there was a camera there to bust this dishonest worker!
The narrator did a great job capturing this crook, who not only tried to cheat for workers’ compensation but tried to blame a kid on a scooter for his injuries. Now that’s cold.
From YouTube:
We were moving and decided to get a couple of guys from Home Depot to help us. One of the guys intentionally tried multiple times to jump in front of the kids playing to act as if he got hurt. He finally succeeded the third time, but did not know he was on camera.
It just burns me up watching him try to get away with it. Luckily, there was a video and a smart homeowner there to catch this worker.
This should give you a moment of pause. Wireless cameras are cheap these days and you can fortify your house for security and protection.
