Mike Fisher Retires

Carrie Underwood is about to spend a lot more time with her husband. Mike Fisher announced his retirement from the NHL today after 17 seasons.

The country star took to Instagram to congratulate her husband for his success on the ice. They are clearly looking forward to spending more time together as a family.

The Nashville Predator Captain wrote a farewell letter in The Tennessean thanking fans. Fisher said he looked to God to guide him in making this life-altering decision. The letter also heavily mentions the importance of his family. He’s going to have a lot more time to spend with Carrie and their 2-year-old son, Isaiah.
