ABC Gives Pathetic Reason For Canceling ‘Last Man Standing’

ABC is still backpedaling over its decision to cancel Tim Allen’s popular show, Last Man Standing. The cancellation shocked everyone since the show was such a strong performer. Many wondered if the conservative themes of the show and Tim Allen, its main actor, were the reasons the network dumped the show.

The network immediately faced boycotts from conservatives who believed Tim Allen was targeted for his political beliefs. After all, why else would a company drop a profitable show?

ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey has now gone on record explaining the reasoning behind the cancellation.

“Politics had absolutely nothing to do with it — we have actors on our shows who have all sorts of different political views,” Dungey said over the weekend. “Tim Allen is a valuable part of the Disney ABC family and has been for a very, very long time,” she continued. “‘Last Man Standing’ was a show that, several years running, kind of came up to the very end in terms of the renewal, which was the same case this year.”

She claimed the network couldn’t seem to find a time slot for the very popular show. How stupid does she think we are? Why would an organization cancel a popular show? Their objective is to make money and Last Man Standing did exactly that!

Watching the clip below from Last Man Standing makes it clear the show didn’t fit the Hollywood mold of upholding liberal ideals. This show was for us in the Heartland who don’t subscribe to liberal values.

ABC clearly is feeling the heat for canceling this show. I can’t imagine conservatives buying this lame excuse. There are next to no shows on ABC, CBS, or NBC that have a conservative message. Liberals in the media were so threatened by the popularity of Last Man Standing that they had to drop it.
