Last week, Buckingham Palace insiders reported the Queen wants Prince William to be the next King of England, skipping over Prince Charles.
This has apparently created quite a feud between Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and her mother-in-law Camilla Parker Bowles.
It was reported the Queen believes William and Kate are better prepared for the Crown than Charles as Charles has been plagued with multiple scandals. His affair with Camilla during his marriage to Princess Diana has soured his reputation in England.
The Queen believes Kate and William are better prepared to change how the monarchy is viewed in the modern world.
Yahoo News is reporting that Camilla is downright furious and believes Kate is the one pushing for Charles to be bypassed.
Royal Commentator Robert Jobson said that things are speeding towards a change in the Crown with Palace Communications staff being ordered to be up-to-date on the 1937 Regency Act, which grants power to the heir.
In addition, the Queen allegedly had a mock coronation of William and Kate a few weeks ago. Insiders say this has infuriated Camilla, fueling this family struggle.
I see this as Diana’s revenge. Charles made his bed with Camilla at the expense of Diana’s heart. Now, it’s time those two lie down in it.
