A group of Florida teens mocked Jamel Dunn, a 32-year-old disabled man as he was drowning in a lake. The teens, who ranged in age from 14 to 16, felt it was comical to see the man dying in front of them. They didn’t call authorities for help. They simply shouted at him.
And it gets worse. These poor excuses for human beings took video of the drowning and posted it on social media. That’s when Jamel Dunn’s friends saw it and reported it to police.
In the disturbing video below, a teen can be heard yelling, “Get out [of] the water, you gonna die,” and “Ain’t nobody fixing to help you, you dumb (expletive).” When Dunn completely submerges, one of the teens said, “Oh, he just died.”
The Brevard County State Attorney’s Office stated the teens likely won’t be charged unless evidence appears they were actually involved in Dunn’s drowning. They might not end up behind bars, but they should be known as heartless creeps. Maybe someday they will grow consciences and have some remorse over this.
