Alberto El Patron Stripped Of Title Of Promotion Run By Paige’s Family

The wrestling world has begun to turn their backs on Alberto El Patron. After reports of domestic abuse surfaced last week, Global Force/Impact Wrestling suspended Patron indefinitely. The heat turned up on the former WWE champion after Paige’s brothers took to social media to say that Patron abused her. Paige continues to deny the allegations.

World Association of Wrestling, the promotion in the UK run by Paige’s family has taken a serious step. WAW stripped Patron of its Championship Title.

The WAW Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship has been declared vacant at last night’s Academy Show in Costessey, following a unanimous decision by the WAW Championship Committee. The WAWCC’s decision was announced by Zak Knight but no information was revealed regarding the crowning of a new champion.

Paige’s Family Doesn’t Care for Alberto El Patron

Even though Paige tried to downplay the incident and blame it on an unruly fan, witnesses and Paige’s own family paint a different picture.

… and in the comments wrote, “We got pics from the last 6 months bro of her beating I’m glad she’s finally sticking up for yourself..the reason there fighting yesterday is cause my uncle on his last legs in hospital and he wished him dead.”

This whole incident shows no signs of improving. It is clear that Patron and Paige are in an unhealthy relationship. The two seem to be in denial about this.The rest of the wrestling world seems to understand the severity. Alberto El Patron is on a dark path. He needs help.

Paige has a lot of wrestling left to give. Even though she’s sidelined at the moment, Paige is a phenomenal talent. We hope she can get her head and body clean and start wrestling again soon.
