Some debuts stay with us for eternity; this is certainly the case for the debuts I will mention below. This is my personal list of favourites, so yours might vary from mine. Let’s find out!

1. Chris Jericho

Many will claim that I put Chris Jericho on number 1 because he is my favourite of all time. They would be partially right, because this G.O.A.T. has ‘legend’ written all over him. That being said, the crowd reaction during his debut can convince you more than anything I could say. One thing I do have to say, I’m quite happy he finally got that haircut!

2. The Undertaker

If you were a child during the Undertaker’s debut, you’ve undoubtedly had some chills when the dead man made his way to the ring for the first time. Even though I’m considered an adult now, I still get chills when seeing this timeless debut.

3. Bobby Roode

I know, Bobby Roode is not on the main roster yet, but I simply had to include his NXT debut. The man made an entrance that is going to be remembered for decades, so I cannot wait to see the even bigger version on the biggest stage of them all in the future!

4. Shinsuke Nakamura

Even though he’s only been on the main roster for a while, the debut of Shinsuke Nakamura at SmackDown Live was long anticipated. It certainly delivered one of the best debuts of all time, at least in my humble opinion.

5. AJ Styles

I remember being on the edge of my seat when AJ Styles made his debut at the WWE, because I was following his Indie wrestling career for quite some time at that point. So, this debut has a special place in my heart, because I did not see it coming whatsoever, even though it was rumoured (that’s a first for the WWE!).

6. Kane

The Undertaker is certainly one of the most iconic wrestlers in the WWE, but his story-line brother Kane certainly left people talking after his debut. It is also one of the debuts that undoubtedly will stay with me for life.

7. Kevin Owens

Even though people knew K.O. would make his main roster debut soon, they did not expect him to do so while still holding the NXT title.

I honestly believe that the debut K.O. made on the main roster has made his career. Even people who did not watch NXT were hooked after this, so K.O. certainly has deserved a spot in my list.

8. Enzo & Big Cass

Even though the WWE has broken them up now (boooo!), Enzo and Big Cass made their main roster debut at the perfect time. The tag team division was on its last legs, but these two guys made everything better!

Which debut should be added to my list in your opinion? Which debut do you remember most out of all the years you have been watching the WWE? Let me know your favourites in the comment section below and I’ll look forward to discovering them!
