We’ve all heard the saying “The early bird catches the worm.” We’ve also heard “Don’t play with your food.”
Well, nobody informed the cat in the video below about either of these old sayings.
The cat came upon a field mouse and had the look of hunger in his eyes. But the cat also wanted to play with his dinner first, and that’s where he made a crucial mistake.
That slight hesitation cost him his meal, because a chicken who had been watching the entire event decided the mouse was his.

While the chicken walked away victorious, you have to feel for the cat. Sometime that night, there was a hungry sound coming from that cat’s belly.
Maybe next time the cat will handle his business quick so there won’t be any problems.
